Teebs gets the spotlight on this week’s ‘Sunday Inspiration.’ I stopped by High Fidelity Vinyl, the new record shop in Los Feliz Village, for his live performance this afternoon promoting the shop as well as his recent release, Collections 01. He also dropped this track today on Soundcloud that got some repeat plays on my laptop today…
I’ve been in the process of collecting some artwork by local LA artists (such as Kutmah), and am trying to get my hands on some prints of Teebs’ artwork as well. His work summons a mind-meld between Alex Pardee (sans darkness) and Daniel Egneus…two of my favorite artists hailing from completely different levels of inspiration.
A music video I shot and edited for NY/LA-based group, Magic Triangles. All footage was shot during a 4 week residency at Club Moscow in Hollywood during July 2011.
Magic Triangles Live Band:
Rick Penzone – guitar
Lauren Coleman – vocals
Steven Heet – Drums
Christopher Morris – Bass
Brady Lefler – Keyboards
I was lucky enough to be in NY to film the ever-inspiring Bird Call during her live performance at Brooklyn-based radio station, WNYZ’s Indie Darkroom show. Special thanks to Gabe Galvin, Sterling Krusing, and Justice Caruso.
