Welcome to my official website! My name is Cassie Tregellas.
I was raised in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area, and returned there in September 2008 after living in Los Angeles for a little over 6 years. I moved to Los Angeles in September of 2003 to pursue a more creative life after being trapped in what I felt to be a very numbing and predictable path. I spent most of my time there working for EMI Music/Capitol Records in various facets, and learning a great deal about what I do and do not want out my life.
I made a bittersweet departure from EMI and Los Angeles in July 2006 to volunteer and travel alone in India for the remainder of the year (see my 2006 blog entries for greater detail on this adventure). I relocated back to San Francisco in 2008 to finish up my college degree in Documentary Photography at the Academy of Art University, and have recently returned back to Los Angeles where I have continued to build upon my creative project, A Crack In The Wall.
In November of 2008 I founded A Crack In The Wall, a photography and journalism-based company set to explore and promote the thriving creative culture of San Francisco. For more information on A Crack In The Wall, please visit the official website at www.acrackinthewall.com
